VW California Ocean on Isle of Tiree
To get there, drive to Oban, and catch the vehicle ferry to Tiree. From the ferry, follow the road up from the pier, at the junction turn left and follow signs to Crossapol, then follow signs for Balemartine. Before reaching Balemartine, on the right is a sign for Balinoe. There is a post office at Balinoe, and the Farmhouse Café in Balemartine is within walking distance. There are services so you can stay stocked up, but you won’t find tacky shops and miles of condos at this beach- so you can enjoy the natural beauty of the island and have that feeling of truly getting away from it all.
